Ally has been practicing yoga for 6 years and is a certified Yoga Instructor, earning her 200-HR yoga certification at Riverstone Yoga. Ally was originally drawn to yoga from a mental health aspect of trying to calm the mind. Quickly falling in love with both yoga and meditation, it has quite literally changed her life. Ally’s main focus is on Vinyasa style practice and meditation integration.
Yoga isn’t about being flexible. You’re never too old, never too sick, too young, or too late to practice yoga.
Yoga is much more than a form of exercise. It’s a way of life. It’s about exploring, challenging and healing yourself all at the same time. Yoga is about being in your body, quieting the mind, owning your breath, and grounding into the present moment. Yoga is about being here now and accepting what is. She believes yoga is a journey, different for us all. While we are all drawn to it for different reasons, it unifies us and brings us closer in a deeper way.
When she’s not teaching or practicing yoga, you can find her scoping out the best brunch spots or racking up her flight miles traveling to new places near and far. She describes herself as an alien with a gypsy soul and a love for pineapples.
