About Our Program
Kids Yoga classes at Riverstone are desiged teach children basic yoga principles in a fun and entertaining way.Our kids program helps children's self-confidence, allowing them to feel more comfortable with their bodies as they learn valuable interactive and interpersonal skills.

Toddlers UP (Walkers to 5 years) Thurs. 1:15pm - 2pm
Nearly Tweens (6-10 Years) Thurs. 4:30pm-5:30pm
Teen Yoga Weds. Call for Schedule.
Our teen classes facilitate the building of both strength and flexibility. Classes are designed to help teens learn valuable de-stressing techniques to better deal with their busy academic and extracurricular demands. Classes allow teenagers an opportunity to focus on themselves in an environment that encourages a balance between pushing their boundaries and accepting where they are today.
Norma Bocceballa lives here in Tarrytown and is thrilled to be teaching kids yoga at Riverstone Yoga. She has her masters in Human Sexuality and Child and Family Studies from NYU, a BA in Psychology and Spanish Literature from Syracuse University and received her kids yoga teaching certificate from Karma Yoga Kids.
Norma loves that she can take her extensive training and education in family studies and apply it to her kids yoga program in her own community. "I am looking forward to giving individual attention to all my students. Yoga has been a big part of my life for the last ten years and I am so anxious to share this passion with a new generation. I have three boys of my own. I have been implementing my practice strategies with them and I can honestly say I see a difference in their attention span, motivation, and energy level. I have noticed a change in their behavior and a vast improvement in their ability to handle difficult situations through their newly found yoga practice."
Norma has a lot of experience when it comes to working with kids, teaching them to be healthy and motivated has always been one of my strong suits. While producing a Spanish excise video and talk show on TELEMUNDO, for all ages it gave her the opportunity to teach and reach a larger audience.
